The Crystal Clods, are just lazing around
Still a fistful of jobs to get this drill in the ground
A wishful plot, that we'd be phasing them now
With the cluster subdued, that they'd finally come to
And turn around

“Oh Peri,” they'd say
Before they put that smile away
“You're being silly again.
You're cute to the touch as you worry too much
‘Bout the where and when.”

But I don't want to risk it
Letting someone else decide my fate
Caught and thrown in prison
Shrugging it off like, “it could have been great”

I’ve come so far, in the few weeks that passed
Made who we are, into something that lasts
Am I, too, a star, or the diamond on my chest
Seems my repertoire is limited at its best

The Cluster always advances

It could have been a mighty colony
